Our association is non-profit oriented. Our articles of association and the law on associations are governing our inner and outer conduct.

The association represents and supports as umbrella organisation the interests of its member as Railway Undertaking (RU), proprietors, owners and / or  operators of historical railway vehicles and railway infrastructure.

We support and advocate to the endeavours of our members to be recognized as cultural activity and to be fostered accordingly.

The association supports its members to exhibit the (operative) vehicles to the public as operational cultural assets.
